Step 1: Initiate Document Protection

  1. Open document in PDFelement
  2. Tap "Three Dots" menu (top-right)
  3. Select "Set Password"
  4. Choose protection type:
    • Document open password
    • Editing restrictions
    • Full security (both)

Step 2: Configure Security Settings

  1. Enter strong password (12+ characters recommended)
  2. Confirm password in second field
  3. Set permission levels:
    • Printing allowed/denied
